Australia playing Fiji at Cardiff

Some notes from Waz

We are in Cardiff and there is such a buzz in the air and even though we are only playing Fiji you can sense the feeling by seeing all of the Wallaby jumpers in the streets of Cardiff.

This is definitely not the last time we will come to a Rugby World Cup.

A big day arriving at Cardiff

We met with our tour group yesterday morning at the Paddington Hilton. There are several Buses and we are on the Bourke bus named after one of my favourite players Matt Bourke.

Three coaches of Aussies all ready to cheer on the Wallabies. People just like us on Tour, even some, with Teenagers at home but not anyone with a Rosie.

Our first official function was at the Brewery where we had drinks and my nick name of bubbles came from asking about Champas.

Rod Kaffer and Greg Martin showed up and had a panel situation where Waz asked two questions. It was a night to remember

Today Wednesday game day with Fiji. The hotel is across the road from the Wallaby Team and the bus is decorated.  Walking through the Mall iwas the land of Aussie supporters with jumpers in Gold everywhere.
Two of the ladies have been offered 500 pounds for each of their England Wales tickets. My comment was the game is an experience a handbag can be purchased anytime .. Dad laughed

Our Tour guide is an ex All Black Junior nick name Rooster who is the Captain of Balmain Rugby 1st. We are gathered up constantly and looked after really well by the We Love Rugby Team

Well we are having a drink watching Japan and Scottland and cheering the bar down for Japan. I don't think the Scott's are too happy
